The 5-Electrode Technology allows our FORA 6 meters to have the most accurate results with wide ranges of hematocrit (0-70%), making it extremely versatile and suitable for measuring blood glucose in pregnant women and neonates. The technology utilizes a correction electrode that, together with an algorithm inside the devices, allows the meters to compensate blood glucose values at wide ranges of hematocrit levels, as well as common external factors such as altitude and temperature variations.
